Phones
Phones are beginning to piss me off to the point where I'm considering replacing my iPhone with an iPod touch or iPad (contract expires in July, damn). Today, I picked up my phone to see 14 missed calls, all from the same caller (dude at work), and an email containing the following text:
PICK UP UR PHONE!!!
First off, I do have a "Missed Calls" feature, and I can see that you've called. Phoning me more then once won't make me come any faster. If what you have to say is so fucking important (it wasn't that important), you could have just emailed it to me. Morons.

Donesn’t the iPhone come with an option to turn off the radio signal if you don’t want to receive calls? I have a Blackberry 8500 and when for whatever reason I don’t want to receive calls [Like when I’m listening to music or watching a movie or doing something “productive” on my phone I just turn the signal off and presto! Problem solved, no more disruptive calls that may or may not have been important.
The iPhone seriously doesn’t have this feature?
Glad I chose this instead: http://worldwide.blackberry.com/blackberrycurve/8500/

I can disable the radio if I don’t want to receive them, I just didn’t then. Still, calling 14 times is absurd.

That’s the quickest reply I’ve ever gotten on a blog. And yeah, 14 missed calls is crazy.
Unless someone died or something… Then it might be justified.

Nah, they just wanted some PHP help. Google would have given an equally impressive answer.
